The American Journal of Advanced Technology and Engineering Solutions (AJATES) is seeking accomplished scholars to join its Editorial Team. Editorial board members help shape the journal’s direction, guide the peer-review process, and uphold the highest standards of academic integrityand the engineering and applied-science community.
We are accepting applications from qualified researchers and academics who are committed to the long-term development of AJATES. Please note that editorial board membership is a voluntary, unpaid position offering professional recognition, networking opportunities, and the chance to shape the journal’s scholarly direction. All applications are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and Senior Editors. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email for further discussion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the peer-review process for assigned manuscripts and ensure timely, constructive editorial decisions.
- Identify and invite qualified reviewers; mediate reviewer disagreements when necessary.
- Contribute to the journal’s editorial policy, scope, and strategic direction.
- Promote AJATES within your professional networks and at academic conferences.
- Support special issues, thematic calls, and editorial initiatives as needed.
- Uphold publication ethics in line with the COPE Code of Conduct for editors.

Eligibility: Applicants must be at minimum a PhD candidate with at least 5 years of prior research experience, demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications, conference contributions, or sustained scholarly activity in one or more of AJATES’s subject areas — engineering, technology, computer science, materials, energy, and related applied sciences.
